Due to DDoS and BruteForce attacks in the last 36 hours, we have increased the security on our servers and are enabling CloudFlare by default on all accounts hosting wordpress blogs as we have noticed them to be a target in these attacks. You can learn more about CloudFlare at http://www.cloudflare.com/overview

In addition to this, we recommend all the Wordpress Blog owners to go through http://codex.wordpress.org/Hardening_WordPress and implement security measures and password protect Wordpress admin area from cPanel > Password Protect Directories.

If you would like to enable this for your website, you can do it from your cPanel account under Software & Services > CloudFlare. Any questions, please submit a ticket.

12th Apr 2013 EDIT: A few hours after this announcement, we also see similar one from CloudFlare. More details at http://blog.cloudflare.com/patching-the-internet-fixing-the-wordpress-br
