New Generation Hosting will never ever ask you for your account information. It does not matter whether it is client area information or your email account information or cPanel information. We will never ask for any of these and even if you receive any emails asking for access data for something hosted on servers, do not reply to it and instead submit a ticket from our client area including a copy of the email along with the complete email headers.

We value your security and privacy. Every page on our website is requested and delivered over 2048Bit HTTPS protocol.

Always choose and use a different password for your accounts with us. The strength of a password is a function of length, complexity, and unpredictability. We strongly recommend that you go through http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Password_strength#Guidelines_for_strong_passwords for an idea on password strength. Once the password is set, DO NOT write it on any piece of paper.

Incase you are unable to log in to our clientarea, we will validate using the Secret Question and Answers and they are unavailable based on the last payment transaction details. If you made the payment by a credit card, we will only ask for the first 6 digits and the last 4 digits. We will never ask you for CVC/CVV or any other information related to your bank / credit card. Do not reply to any email even if it claims to be from us asking for such information.

Always log in to our client area and your cPanel/FTP accounts from your personal computer only which is protected with an Anti-Virus, Firewall and Anti-Spyware/Anti-Malware software updated with the latest definitions. Do not open any emails containing attachments of .exe / .com / .bat / .scr and other extensions.

Even though we take backup of your data stored on our servers, we strongly recommend that you take regular backups of your files and database by logging in to your cPanel / FTP accounts. Once the backup is taken, please extract it to confirm that it is complete and usable.

If you use Wordpress or Joomla or similar scripts on your websites, please ensure that you update these scripts to the latest version immediately after its release. Also ensure the third party extensions / plugins / themes for these scripts are from trusted sources and do not contain any backdoors and they must not encrypted if it is a freeware.
